In a major policy shift, St. Paul, Minnesota police officials will hand over all future probes of officer-involved shootings to independent investigators in an effort to restore public trust in the uniform and meet federal recommendations.

Donald "Chip" Pugh was caught by police in the small town of Century, near Pensacola, Florida.

Pugh appeared in the wanted mugshot with bloodshot eyes and a grin. Not satisfied with the photo, Pugh posted a pic on the department's Facebook page, asking them to use his "cool" selfie instead. The post quickly went viral.
