Well the third- and fourth-largest wireless carriers in the U.S. are joining forces.  T-Mobile agreed to acquire Sprint for 26-billion dollars, all in stock on Sunday.  The deal comes after four years of on-again-off-again talks that ended with the agreement that creates a carrier with 127-million customers.  The merger will preserve T-Mobile’s name, the company will have dual headquarters in Bellevue, Washington and Overland Park, Kansas, and will be led by T-Mobile’s current CEO John Legere.  Verizon is the nation’s top carrier, followed by AT&T

For those of you who have one or the other carrier, what are your thoughts on this merger?
