The announcement was made today about which IPS schools the task force recommended to be closed. The High Schools that have been chosen to close beginning the 2018 school year are Arlington High School, Broad Ripple High School and Northwest High school. Dr. Lewis Ferebee is looking to turn Northwest and Arlington into middle schools pending approval from the Indiana State Board of Education. Broad Ripple would be sold with the district hoping to get between $6 million and $8 million.
