The hip-hop group The Roots is throwing its support behind Broadway’s hip-hop musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton. “Billboard” reports that band members Questlove and Black Thought are executive producing a record featuring music from the musical “Hamilton.” Questlove says he was “stunned” while watching the musical, which is currently in the preview stage ahead of its official August 6th opening. The album will be available for pre-order starting on August 7th.
