It appears that Oprah Winfrey has no plans of relinquishing her power in nabbing exclusive interviews.
For her latest episode in the OWN network’s Next Chapter series, Winfrey decided to tap R&B superstar, Usher Raymond, who will be speaking out for the first time since his much publicized custody battle over his two sons with ex-wife Tameka Raymond.
During the intimate interview, which took place at the singer’s Atlanta residence, the media maven managed to get Usher to open up on an array of topics including the controversy surrounding his ex-marriage, his relationship with his mother, Jonetta Patton (who also appears on the episode), and whether or not reports of him being a absentee father are true or not.
The episode airs on September 16 at 9:00 PM/EST on OWN.
