The cannabis industry is on track to become a major global market economic force as more countries enter into it.  So far only Uruguay and Canada have legalized cannabis entirely, but a lot of countries are starting to legalize it on some level.  In the United States, 46 states allow some form of cannabis use.  Research data compiled by Markets-and-Markets shows that the global cannabis market is expected to grow from ten-point-three-billion-dollars in 2018 to more than 39-billion by 2023.  The United States accounts for the majority of the global market share and is expected to continue to do so.
