Students can get schooled by hip-hop legend Q-Tip. The rapper from A Tribe Called Quest is teaching a class at New York University. According to the NYU website, the class will discuss “historical, social, and musical connections between jazz and hip-hop.” Journalist and producer Ashley Kahn will also be teaching the course alongside Q-Tip. The rapper put out a statement saying “teaching is an exchange of sharing and receiving for all involved.” The class starts in September.
