Iowa State forward Georges Niang was the 50th pick of the 2016 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers. The 6’9” power forward averaged 20.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Cyclones in his senior year.

As a Freshman, Niang was named to the Big 12 All-Rookie team. He now joins former Brooklyn Nets power forward Thaddeus Young  who was came in a trade for the Pacers 20th pick, as the newest additions to the Pacers.
