New year, new leadership. On Sunday, January 10, the Baptist Minister’s Alliance of Greater Indianapolis and Vacinity is hosting its 149th installation service to put in place the organization’s new officers for 2016. President-elect of the organization is Senior Pastor of Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, the Reverend Wayne L. Moore. Reverend Gerald Dew will serve as the guest preacher. Dew is the pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. The service begins at 6 p.m. at Olivet MBC, located in the 41oo block of North High School Road on the city’s northwest side. The Baptist Minister’s Alliance promotes and practices the teachings Jesus and makes opportunities for pastors to continue their development in the art of preaching and pastoral care.
