The nightly “die-ins” are over at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority have put a lyric from a James Brown song into action for the protesters–get up…get on up! The MTA began enforcing a longstanding rule against lying down in the terminal on Tuesday. Demonstrators have lay down as though dead every night since December 3rd. That’s when a Staten Island grand jury decided not to indict a white police officer in the death of an unarmed black man, Eric Garner. A spokesman for the MTA said other forms of protest can continue. Read more on this story: HERE.
