Jennifer Lopez is giving fans a peek into her private life like never before. The triple threat American Idol judge has written her first book called “True Love.” As much as I wish it was a tell-all that revealed the details of some of her most infamous relationships like P. Diddy, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony, it’s actually more of a memoir that tells of the major transition she underwent the last two years.
According to Billboard, the book is “one of her life’s most defining periods – the transformative two-year journey of how, as an artist and a mother, she confronted her greatest challenges, identified her biggest fears, and ultimately emerged a stronger person than she’s ever been.”
Jennifer Lopez also spoke out about the book and said, ‘“Writing ‘True Love’ has been a deeply cathartic, personal, and vulnerable experience. If it were not for the love and courage given to me by my children, this story wouldn’t have been possible. While I struggled with the decision of whether or not to release this book, I recognized that if it could touch even just one person then it would honestly become one of the most fulfilling endeavors of my life.”
It will include never before seen photos and a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Lopez Family Foundation.
