South Split Opens Ahead Of Schedule 

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  Interstates 65 and 70 at the South Split are open again.  The construction project wrapped up late Wednesday night, more than two-weeks ahead of schedule.  Governor Mike Pence is commending drivers for their patience and cooperation during the shutdown. 

Opening Statements Continue For Bisard Trial 

(Fort Wayne, IN)  —  The trial for suspended IMPD Officer David Bisard continues today.  On Wednesday, Marion County Prosecutor Denise Robinson acknowledged that several witnesses said Bisard didn’t appear to be drunk when he crashed his patrol car into a group of motorcyclists, but added not every drunk looks like Otis from “The Andy Griffith Show.”  Before opening statements began, a male jury member was excused because he heard a co-worker say he thought Bisard was guilty.  

Ambulance Owner Admits To Medicare Fraud 

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The owner of an Indianapolis ambulance company is admitting to bilking the federal government for more than half a million dollars.  Investigators say Kenneth Lock the Second repeatedly charged Medicare 330 dollars to transport patients in an ambulance, but those patients only needed a transport van that would’ve cost 40 dollars.  Lock faces up to ten years in prison.
