1.(1984) The Purple Rain Era…need I say more? He had some of y’all role playing in the shower and singing along.”You ain’t gotta lie Craig, you ain’t gotta lie!”
2.(1985) Prince announced that his discontinuance of live performances and music videos would take place after the release of his next album. Hey, everyone tells a little fib every now and then. We’re human!
3.(1991) Prince made history on the MTV Video Music Awards with his classic yellow pants with the butt cheeks exposed for all to see. He gave new meaning to being assed out!
4.(1993) Prince changed his name to a damn symbol and was referred to as “The Artist Formerly Known As Prince.” The symbol is actually the love symbol which is a combo of the symbols for male and female. Who knew? I sure as heck didn’t! Message!!
5.(2004) Prince appeared at the Grammy Awards with Beyonce in a phenomenal opening performance. I’m not sure who was the bigger diva between the two that night. Honestly, I think Prince took the cake.
6.(2011) This is the year of the foot. Prince is kicking ass off stage and out of his shows! First Kim Kardashian gets kicked off stage by your majesty, and then Whitney Houston got kicked out of his shows. Hey, what can you say? He refuses to allow anyone to make him look bad, and I don’t blame him one bit! He’s a pretty motha-shut-ya-mouth!
