DON’T LOOK FOR IT

Remember when your mom or someone wise once told you not to look for love because it would find you? Well mom was right. The purest form of love occurs when the relationship evolves from natural circumstances. Sure, everyday we hear success stories about people who were matched together on a blind date or from a friend recommendation, but these couples are the exception and not the rule. It is important that you not spend your days actively looking, searching and thinking about finding your soul mate.

    DON’T BE DESPERATE FOR IT

Again, you don’t want to obsess about being alone. Being alone can be a very good and healthy time in your life because you get to experience life and yourself without concentrating on another person romantically. Find out who you are as a person and go out into the world and discover hobbies, passions and excel in the things you love. All of these discovery type activities will make you all the more interesting to the lucky man or woman who you will eventually partner with.

    DON’T BLAME OTHERS

You never want to sell yourself on the idea that all of your past relationship mishaps were the other person’s fault and not your own. Realize that you were the common denominator in all your past relationships and maybe the person who needs to do the changing is none other than yourself. Take the time while you are single to improve on all your personal flaws and learn from the things that went wrong in your past relationships. Other’s will notice your positive changes and your likelihood of finding true love will increase.
