Don’t tell Sheree Whitfield she cannot do something; the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star’s retort will simply be “Who gon’ check me boo?”

On the heels of the show garnering a nomination for Outstanding Reality Series for this year’s NAACP Image Awards, the She by Sheree fashion designer is gearing up for her acting debut.

On Jan.19, she will star in Kendrick D. Young‘s stage play ‘Heaven I Need A Hug,’ running at the Granville Arts Center in Garland, Texas through Jan.24.

The divorced mother of two will star as Lisa opposite R&B singer Dave Hollister.

Although the rumor mill has been buzzing, her co-stars Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes have been having difficulties negotiating their contracts for the show, Whitfield is set to return for the third season of ‘Housewives.’

It was announced yesterday that the network has given a new season a go.

As previously announced, ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ remains the highest rated of the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise and last season maintained its rank as the #1 series in its Thursday 10 PM time slot
