*Ice-T plays a detective on NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU,” but he found himself on the receiving end of NYPD handcuffs following a traffic stop early Tuesday.
The rapper, whose real name is Tracy Morrow, was arrested in Manhattan at 9 a.m. for driving with a suspended license, the New York Daily News reports.
The infraction was discovered after cops initially pulled him over on the corner of W. 40th St. and 11th Ave. for not wearing a seatbelt.
He was taken to the 10th Precinct in Chelsea and charged, police said.
