Gladys Knight shares update with fans after cancelling show due to sudden illness
Gladys Knight fell ill just before a scheduled performance at the Florida Theatre, prompting the cancellation of the show. The legendary singer was taken to the
hospital for treatment after falling ill suddenly backstage. Knight reassured fans on Instagram that she was feeling better and had the flu.
Fans and famous friends including Jermaine Dupri and Sheila E, sent well-wishes for her speedy recovery, with hopes that the show will be rescheduled soon.
Gladys Knight rose to fame with the Pips before pursuing a solo career. In 1996, Gladys Knight and the Pips were inducted into the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame.
