The Federal Communications Commission is taking steps that will allow phone carriers to block those annoying robocalls. The FCC will allow companies to give customers to block numbers that are not pre-approved. The commission also voted to move forward with making it legal for carriers that block spoofed numbers. For those who like getting the robocalls, they can opt out of the program.
How many robocalls a week do you get? One would hope that this is better than the old “Do Not Call” list that somehow didn’t stop these calls.
