Amazon says its new Alexa Guard security feature can keep your home safe. The company says the feature lets an Echo speaker listen for sounds like breaking glass or a smoke alarm and sends out an alert while a homeowner is away. Additionally, Alexa Guard can learn a homeowner’s habits, like regular light usage and mimic that when the homeowner is not around. To activate the guard mode a user has to say, “Alexa, I’m leaving.” Also, don’t forget to tell Alexa to “Play 106.7 WTLC” too.
