Some shade on social media last year caused an uproar of support for Tevin Campbell.
After some trolls questioned Campbell’s relevancy to millennials, filmmaker and director Ava DuVernay came to his rescue.
DuVernay tweeted that she was plotting a way to get Campbell into an episode of her show Queen Sugar.
A video from Queen Sugar’s Twitter account said, “You asked, Ava listened.” So, Tevin will be making a guest appearance this season.
