A U.S. Senator is reintroducing legislation that would take 14-billion-dollars in asset seizures from El Chapo and use them for border wall funding.  The accused Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was found guilty in Brooklyn Tuesday on all counts in his drug conspiracy and money laundering trial.   Texas Senator Ted Cruz is bringing back the measure he calls the “El Chapo Act.”   It reserves any amounts forfeited to the U.S. government as a result of the criminal prosecution of El Chapo along with other drug lords for border security assets and the completion of the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
