The FDA is approving a new birth control app as a form of contraceptive. It’s called Natural Cycles and it tracks a woman’s fertility based on their daily body temperature. It then informs women when to use protection or abstain from sex all together when they are the most fertile. The FDA says fewer than two out of every 100 women who use the app for a year will get pregnant.
