Updated mixes cast The Supremes in a whole new light. Next month, Motown/Ume will release a two-CD expanded edition of Supremes music. With 52 tracks, “The Supremes Sing Holland-Dozier-Holland,” includes remixes, alternate versions and live recordings of the premier ’60s singing group. The collection also includes the last recorded performance of the original Supremes — Diana Ross, Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard. The soon-to-be released set is homage to producers and lyricists Brian Holland and Lamont Dozier and Edward Holland Jr., who were key in developing the ‘Motown Sound.’
