In honor of February being Black History Month, one mom went above and beyond to teach her 5-year-old daughter about the importance of black women throughout history in very a unique way.  Cristi Smith-Jones dressed up her daughter Lola, each day this month, to recreate photos of iconic black women.

Smith-Jones posted the photos to her twitter account, @MsKittiFatale. Check out their project below.
