In today’s society, racial incidents are unfortunately a common occurrence in schools especially with children and it’s no different for singer Cheryl ‘Coko’ Gamble of the hit girl group SWV, who has come forward with a story about her son’s recent encounter with racism at his school located in Chesapeake, Virginia.

According to her Instagram post, Coko’s son Jaylon was called the n-word while riding the school bus and that the bathroom walls were covered with the same racial term. See her post below:

Coco elected to not name the school but she did state in her post above, that she will be going to the school to let them know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.
