Toni Braxton is back in the hospital but this time she has her boyfriend and rapper Birdman by her side.
According to TMZ, when Birdman got the news, he hopped on a jet from Texas and was soon on the road to be with her. They were last seen together at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, which took place in Atlanta.
Now as of right now it’s unclear why Braxton is in the hospital but some speculate that it is because of complications with her lupus.
Braxton was diagnosed years ago with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a potentially life-threatening autoimmune disease and was hospitalized in Los Angeles back in December 2012 because of “minor health issues” related to lupus.
Stress could be another potential reason that Braxton is in the hospital. She was recently hit with a tax lien for nearly $125,000 resulting from back taxes, that was filed on Aug. 17 with the State of California. If she doesn’t pay up, the state will seize her assets.
