Indianapolis Metro Police have two investigations on their hands this morning. First, who killed and dumped Mack Taylor, 23, and Alexander Brown, 24, in an alley overrun with weeds on the city’s east side. Neighbors made the grisly discovery of the pair’s dead bodies in the 2900 block of North Gladstone Wednesday. A crowd gathered in the middle of the crime scene with emotions escalating. This happened while officers were trying to determine the source of blood inside a home one block away. Police were called to that home on a report of a missing family member. Thursday morning, IMPD confirmed they believe there is a connection between the bloody house and the bodies.

IMPD is also looking for the person who tied up a woman in her Geist home and robbed her of some jewelry. Officials say the man kicked in the back door yesterday morning, put the woman in a headlock, tied her up and threw her in the bathroom.  She wasn’t injured.

One of the richest men in Indiana has passed away. Company officials confirm billionaire Dean White died Wednesday. White made his fortune in billboards and hotels, including Indy’s JW Marriott. Indy leaders credit White with a key role in transforming Indianapolis into a business and tourism hub. But White is also being remembered as being a top-knotch philanthropist. He gave donations to numerous charities and civic groups.  White was 93.

Hillary Clinton is getting back on the campaign trail today after a serious bout with pneumonia. The Democratic presidential nominee had been resting since nearly collapsing after leaving a 9/11 event early on Sunday. As for Republican rival Donald Trump’s health, he talked about a recent physical exam during a taping Wednesday of the syndicated “Dr. Oz Show.” That episode will air today. Trump handed Dr. Mehmet Oz a one-page summary of the physical and his health history during the taping.

Officials in Columbus, Ohio say police shot and killed a 13-year-old boy following reports of an armed robbery. Police say Tyree King pulled a gun from his waistband after running from police into an alley Wednesday night, while officers tried to detain him and another male matching the suspects description. One officer opened fire, hitting King multiple times.  Investigators say they recovered a BB gun with a laser sight from the scene.
