A Motown legend is being sued by his former manager.  Eric Podwall’s lawsuit against Smokey Robinson claims the onetime leader of The Miracles owes him commissions.  The suit filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court also says the 76-year-old singer-songwriter sent Podwall a letter dated in December “which purported to terminate the management agreement.”  In 2012 — the two agreed to a deal in which Podwall was to receive ten-percent of all money Smokey made while working in the entertainment business.  The plaintiff alleges the termination effort is invalid since the agreement requires Podwall and Robinson to provide notice to each other of a thirty-day period to try and resolve any problems.
