“Monday Night Football” will need a new lead voice next season.  The “SportsBusiness Journal” reports veteran play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico will leave ESPN when his contract expires this summer to join NBC Sports.  Tirico not only does “MNF” for ESPN, but also some college football and basketball as well as golf and tennis.  Sean McDonagh is considered a leading candidate to replace Tirico on “Monday Night Football” after renewing his deal with ESPN.  Al Michaels has two seasons left on his NBC contract and Tirico would likely be his long-term replacement on “Sunday Night Football.”
