Recently released Indianapolis Colts back-up quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has landed a new job. Web site, The Big Lead is reporting that the free agent will replace Hall of Fame tight end and legendary Super Bowl-winning coach Mike Ditka on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown”. Ditka has been removed from the cast and the 18-year veteran player, Hasselbeck, will take the seat on the network’s flagship NFL television show. Hasselbeck enjoyed increased playing time last season with the Colts while filling in for starting QB Andrew Luck, who spent much of the season injured.

In other local college hoops action, Notre Dame earned the four seed in the ACC tournament and will play its first game on Thursday.
