Lifetime will soon be searching for music’s next biggest star.  The network has announced it’s teaming up with Queen Latifah and Jermaine Dupri for a new series called “The Rap Game.”  The project will be an eight episode series, which will follow five emerging artists ages 12-16 as they dive into the Atlanta hip-hop scene in a quest to become the next big rap star.  The show will feature guest appearances every week, including Usher, Ludacris and T.I.  “The Rap Game” is expected to kick off New Year’s Day.
