Private College Week gets underway tomorrow. The Independent Colleges of Indiana are inviting you to come learn about the 31 private colleges and universities here in the state this summer. Again this program runs tomorrow July 20th through Friday, July 24th, you can visit any, or all, of our diverse campuses to help guide you while making a college decision that’s right for you or the student in your life. Special meal deals are being offered at more than 35 restaurants in Midtown Indianapolis– Yes…You can chow down at more than 35 participating restaurants and take advantage of three-course, value priced menus until next Sunday, July 26 during the event that’s going on right now called Chow Down Midtown. And until 11:59 p.m. tonight you can check out their official cocktail contest. You might need a cocktail to wind down after this busy weekend. Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 30th! The 100 Black Men of Indianapolis are holding their next installment in the Emerging Leaders: Empower Hour Series and you’re invited. This time the subject is “Education of Self, Education for Youth, Education for Life.”  Meet education industry leaders, get your hardest questions answered, and have great conversations, all in great company. Join the discussion at the Sheraton Downtown Indy City Centre at 5:30 p.m. The Sheraton is located at 31 West Ohio and the event will be in the Panorama Ballroom. You must RSVP .
