This Diamond became this womans’ best friend. A Colorado woman is the proud owner of an eight-and-a-half carat diamond all thanks to a day at the park. Bonnie Oskarson says she thought the diamond was just a piece of quartz crystal when she dug it up last week at Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park. Parks officials on Friday confirmed the find is the fifth largest diamond discovered there since the park opened in 1972.
