Some of hip-hop’s biggest names are among the richest musicians in the world. The private wealth consultancy group Wealth-X says Dr. Dre is the third wealthiest artist behind Madonna and Paul McCartney with a net worth of 650-million-dollars. Much of that cash came from the recent three-billion-dollar sale of his Beats Electronics to Apple. Just behind him at number four is Bad Boy Records exec, Diddy. He’s worth 640-million-dollars. Lower down on the list at number eight is Jay Z, who is worth 510-million.
