It seems that Mariah Carey’s label boss doesn’t think her new single will make it to number one.  In an interview with “Billboard,” Epic Records head L.A. Reid says it’s “not realistic” to expect that Mariah’s new song “Infinity” will top the charts.  He describes Mariah as “a music legend,” and says he understands that radio caters to “in-the-moment stars,” and not “veteran artists.”  Mariah re-signed a new contract with Epic earlier this year in order to team back up with Reid, who was behind her first musical comeback.  He spearheaded her newly launched Las Vegas residency and upcoming greatest hits album.

So the question is, how well will “Infinity” do? Will the song at least be a Top 10 hit? Top 5? Your thoughts.
