We seen their great chemisty in 2005 film ‘Hustle & Flow’ and now we see it in hit show ‘EMPIRE.’ During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, both Taraji and Terrance were asked about their great performance together as Cookie and Luscious. Terrance went on to explain that they were never romantically involved with one another because Taraji didn’t see him in that way.
“We’re like father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister. We’ve never been lovers. When I was doing Hustle & Flow, I was like, ‘I know I’m playing this character right if all my female co-leads want to sleep with me.’ Taraji was the only one that didn’t want to.”
So if you wanted to see these two together romantically it will only be as Coookie and Lusicous.
