Most couples try to keep the commercial aspect of Valentine’s Day out of the holiday. Forty-six percent of the respondents in a survey conducted by WP Diamonds say they would choose a romantic evening over anything else. Over 20 percent say they value intimacy as an important part of their Valentine’s plans, and 19 percent say their ideal date would be a night at home watching Netflix. Only 14 percent say extravagant gifts are important to them. The survey also asked women what they consider to be the most important quality in a man. Ninety-six percent say honesty is the number one quality, followed by passion.
