ABC’s “Scandal” and “How To Get Away With Murder” are among the television shows earning multiple nominations for next year’s NAACP Image Awards. Nominees were announced Tuesday with ABC and Lifetime leading the television categories. “Scandal” and “Murder’s” leading ladies Kerry Washington and Viola Davis will go head-to-head in the category for Outstanding Actress In A Drama Series while their respective shows are competing in the category for Outstanding Drama Series alongside fellow ABC drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” BET’s “Being Mary Jane” and Netflix’s “House of Cards.” The Image Awards also honors diversity in film, recording and literature. Winners will be announced during a live two-hour event to be broadcast on TV ONE on Friday, February 6th, 2015.
