R&B singer, Tank landed in hot water after upsetting some of his fans with remarks he made in defense of his girlfriend.
Tank tweeted out his frustrations concerning the way dark-skinned women treat his light-skinned girlfriend.
Through a series of messages, the R&B crooner vented to his followers about negative comments he gets when posting photos of him and his longtime girlfriend, and mother of his two children, Zena Foster.
He wrote,
I have an honest question. What do dark skinned women have against light skinned women?.. Aren’t we all black at the end of the day??

Tank’s tweets received hundreds of comments from his followers. Some were in support, but there were several comments from black women who feel there is indeed a ‘light-skinned bias.’ He later revealed that he was hoping to have an intelligent conversation with his Twitter followers, but his posts were met with too much hate.
Watch the people that are angry at this question..lol Just hoping for an intelligent exchange. Not many intelligent people tho!. #blind
