Solange Knowles speaks out about the now infamous brawl between her and Jay Z. Solange’s attack against the “Tom Ford” rapper, which was all caught on surveillance video, caused many to raise their eyebrows and wonder what was going on with the Knowles/Carter clan. Solange opened up about the fight in the newest issue of Lucky magazine.

She kept it short and sweet and said, ““What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”

Knowles covers the August issue of the magazine and channels her inner 1960’s style. She also dished on her childhood with Mathew Knowles, Kelly Rowland being like a sister and her new beau. Check it out here.

Just days after the melee, Solange, Beyoncé and Jay Z released a joint statement in hopes of clearing the air.

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident,” the statement at the time read. “But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
