Noah Vonleh who played for a season with Indiana University and the IndyStar’s 2012 Indiana “Mr. Basketball,” Gary Harris, were the stand outs with Indiana ties to be drafted by professional basketball teams in Thursday night’s NBA Draft. Vonleh went ninth to the Charlotte Hornets. Harris was taken at number 19 by the Chicago Bulls, but he’s expected to be traded to the Denver Nuggets. Glenn Robinson III, son of the legendary Purdue player and NBA player, Glenn Robinson, was also drafted in 40th place. The Indiana Pacers are sending their 57th pick to the New York Knicks in exchange for cash. The Pacers selected French forward Louis Labeyrie then immediately traded rights.
