Oprah Winfrey’s Martin Luther King drama is getting a Christmas Day unwrapping in theaters. Paramount Pictures says “Selma” will be released on December 25th with plans to expand to more theaters on January 9th. Co-produced by Winfrey and Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company, “Selma” stars David Oyelowo [[ oh-yellow-oh ]] as civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Carmen Ejogo [[ e-JO-go ]] as his wife, Coretta Scott King. Winfrey also appears in the film. Shooting is underway on location in Georgia and Alabama.
