Maybe we’ll finally see the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao showdown we’ve been waiting for. If it’s up to Muhammad Ali AKA The Greatest, it’ll definitely happen.
The champ congratulated Floyd Mayweather after his win against Marcos Maidana Saturday, but not before he urged him to take on another challenge: a fight against Pacquiao.
Just days before, Ali also tweeted Mayweather to let him know he would be watching the fight with Maidana.
The two were in talks of squaring off back in 2009. But after payout negotiations failed and drug tests, the deal fell through. Mayweather hasn’t responded to Ali yet. Let’s hope it was a little motivation for him.
