The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has spoken out about President Obama’s recent oopsies of her infamous song “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.”
She said, “I’m sure the President had much on his agenda and was just a little tired.”
If you missed it, during the “Woman of Soul” concert at the White House recently, President Obama was having a little too much fun and decided Aretha’s song is the anthem for women, African Americans, and anyone else who feels “marginalized.” He sung out the song and said, “R-E-S-P-C-T”, leaving out the “E.”
