It’s a little cold right now, but you can keep the family warm by staying together and venturing out together.  There’s plenty of family oriented activities going on this weekend; check out some of them below.

  • CHAMP Launch for Riley in Noblesville is today.  It’s the first Les Mills Launch and its a morning of five free classes that are open to the public.  The event kicks off at 9:30am in the CHAMP Hamilton County Sports Complex; see http://champchiropractic.com/ for more details

  • The 18th Annual Spirit and Place Festival is back in Indy with a variety of events at several different locations.  It all ends on Sunday NOv. 10th; see http://www.spiritandplace.org/ for more information.
  • Its time believe or not for the 64th Annual Christmas Gift and Hobby Show at the State Fairgrounds this weekend.  See more than 300 vendors in the West Pavillion where kids under 13 are free.  For more details see the website at http://www.christmasgiftandhobbyshow.com/.
  • While at the State Fairgrounds don’t miss the Great Indy Pet Expo.  It’s the largest celebration of pets and the pet owners.  Kids under 4 are free; see http://www.greatindypetexpo.com/ for prices.
  • Neighborhood Toy Store Day is here in Zionsville which is a nationwide event to help discus the benefits of shopping at your local toy stores.  There’s plenty of events for the kids and admission is FREE. See http://www.earthexplorertoys.com/.
  • Is your girl an American Girl?  The American Girl Fashion Show and Benefit is here at the Murat Shrine Temple.  They teamed up with Riley Hospital’s Cheer Guild to raise money for their Toy Room and Art and Music Therapy programs.  See their website at http://www.americangirlindy.org/.
