Actor Idris Elba was rushed to hospital on Saturday (Nov 2) after becoming ill on a plane preparing to depart to South Africa.
Elba was on his way to attend a press conference in Johannesburg for his upcoming Nelson Mandela biopic, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, but failed to make the trip after suffering an asthma attack on the airplane.
Idris was rushed to the hospital from London’s Heathrow Airport, but is now reportedly recovering well.
