Rev Run‘s daughter, Vanessa Simmons took to her personal Instagram account yesterday afternoon to announce some really big news.
She’s expecting her first child!
There’s no official word on who the father is, but Global Grind is reporting that the father is her long time boyfriend and son of Damon Wayans, Mike Wayans .
Russell Simmons‘ website shared the news shortly after the photo was shared on Instagram, giving additional details about the announcement. According to the site, Simmons is about five months along, and released a statement from the mom-to-be:
“Our families are super excited. Our baby is coming into two big families with lots of love and lots of joy. This is my family’s first grandchild, so everybody can’t wait for her arrival.”
