Shellie Zimmerman is seemingly making an about-face when it comes to her estranged husband’s innocence. She appeared on the ‘Today’ show this morning and actually questioned whether or not George Zimmerman was innocent in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin…
“I think anyone would doubt [George’s] innocence, because I don’t know the person that I’ve been married to.”
In reference to the recent domestic dispute that led to police officers detaining George Zimmerman and accounts of him punching her father, smashing her iPad (on which she was taping the attack), she admits she never saw a weapon, but Mr. Zimmerman had his hand inside his shirt and a “look in his eyes” she had never seen.
Some believe Shellie is angling for a book deal and her revelations now are simply to stir up attention for said prospective book. What do you think? Sound off in the comments section.
