Additional murder charges are being filed against the three people accused of causing the Richmond Hill explosion. Mark Leonard, his half-brother Bob Leonard, Jr. and Monserrate Shirley will now face four murder charges each when they go to trial next year. The new charges were upheld on Monday.
Hoosiers collecting unemployment for more than four-weeks will soon have to complete a “work search review.” The Department of Workforce Development says the program is designed to reduce job search time, but will also cut down on fraudulent payments and overpayments. The review will be done in-person at a WorkOne center.
Carmel teachers are still without a contract. On Monday, they rejected the district’s latest proposal because it capped annual raises at two-percent with no compensation for academic coursework they take. The teachers have been without a contract since July 2012.
