The city of Indianapolis is being fined 80-thousand dollars over the death of a trash collector.  Thomas Welch was killed last April when he became pinned between a tree and a Department of Public Works trash truck.  A Department of Labor investigation uncovered ten violations, four of which were known to the city, but were left uncorrected.

Parents and students in the WayneTownship school district are on the lookout for a man that’s been approaching young girls. The first incident happened last Monday at Delmar Avenue and Ingomar Street; the second at Lyons and McCarty. The man is described as Hispanic and driving a small, silver, four-door car with a temporary plate number W0J485.
